Quality Education/Enrichment
Our pupils are assessed regularly and those with serious learning difficulties, from Grade 1-7, are included in a Quality Education Program. The pupils with reading difficulties are given didactic assistance and the others follow an enrichment program.
Class Visits
Please see the secretary, Mrs. Gouws to make an appointment to see the Principal, Deputy principals or an educator at least one day in advance.
Removing learners from the school grounds
Please send a letter of request to the Principal ahead of time. 
Parents/guardians fetching learners must a sign a form at the secretary’s office.
SGB Communications
There is a box in the foyer of the office block for all the letters addressed to the Chairperson of the SGB. Only issues addressed in a letter to the chairperson will be dealt with at the SGB meetings.
Contacting doctors/paramedics
In case of an emergency or injury, parents/guardians will be contacted using the telephone numbers on the contact sheet sent to educator by the parent.
Doctor/paramedics will not be contacted without the permission of the parents/guardians and the number of the Medical Aid.
Bringing eats on a child's birthday
When it is your child's birthday, parents may send eats to school according to the following stipulations.

1. Find out how many children are in the class
2. Sweets etc. must be packed into individual packets so that they can be handed out quickly as we do not want to use up any teaching time.
3. These packs may be handed to the teacher at 07:30
4. NO cakes to be cut up by the teachers
5. NO cold drinks

HIV / AIDS Policy
Aurora has committed itself to work together with the community to educate the learners in its care about the dangers and prevention of HIV and AIDS.
Furthermore, Aurora also undertakes to offer emotional support and counseling for both learners and educators who are affected by the disease.
